Income Qualified Program Rebates (7 Rebates)

BC homeowners with eligible homes where the total household income is within an established threshold may qualify for Income Qualified Program (IQP) rebates. West Temp is proud to be an IQP-certified registered contractor.

Home Heating Rebates (13 Rebates)

  • Ductless Mini-Split or Multi-Split Heat Pump Rebate

    $1000 – $6000* rebate for Ductless & Ducted Heat Pumps

    Rebate available when installing an eligible heat pump when no ducts are available.

  • Central Ducted Heat Pump Rebate

    $1200 – $6000* rebate for Ductless & Ducted Heat Pumps

    Rebate available when installing an eligible heat pump using ducts to distribute heat.

  • Dual-Fuel Ducted Heat Pump Rebate

    $3000* rebate for Ductless & Ducted Heat Pumps

    Rebate available when installing an eligible heat pump with an integrated furnace.

  • Air-to-Water Heat Pump Rebate

    $3000* rebate for Ductless & Ducted Heat Pumps

    Rebate available when installing an eligible heat pump using radiators or in-floor heating system.

  • Combined Space and Hot Water Air-to-Water Heat Pump Rebate

    $1000 – $4000* rebate for Ductless & Ducted Heat Pumps

    Rebate available when installing an eligible air to water heat pump combined with domestic hot water.

  • Heat Pump Group Purchase Rebate (GPR)

    Up to $500* rebate for Ductless & Ducted Heat Pumps

    The Heat Pump Group Purchase Rebate (GPR) is an additional rebate offer that rewards groups of homeowners working together to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by switching from an oil, natural gas, or propane heating system to an air source heat pump.

  • Indigenous Community Heat Pump Incentive

    Up to $12000* rebate for Ductless & Ducted Heat Pumps

    Indigenous communities installing heat pumps in residential homes or community buildings.

  • Natural Gas Furnace Rebate

    Up to $1150* rebate for Gas Furnaces

    Replace your old natural gas furnace with an eligible ENERGY STAR® model and you could qualify for a rebate of up to $1,000. Plus, if you install an eligible connected thermostat, you could qualify for an additional $150 rebate.

  • Natural Gas Fireplace Rebate

    $300* rebate for Gas Fireplaces for Your Home

    If you’re buying a new natural gas fireplace for your home, townhouse or condominium, upgrade to an eligible EnerChoice® model and you could get a $300 rebate.

  • Natural Gas Boiler & Combo Heating/Hot Water System Rebates

    $1000 – $1500*

    Replace your old natural gas boiler with an eligible ENERGY STAR® boiler and you could qualify for a $1,000 rebate. Replace your old natural gas space heating system with an eligible combination heating and hot water system and you could qualify for a $1,500 rebate.

  • Regional District of Nanaimo Community Wood Smoke Reduction Program

    $400 – $1000* rebate for Ductless & Ducted Heat Pumps

    Exchange your old wood stove for an EPA/CSA certified cleaner heating option (including a heat pump) for a rebate up to $1000.

  • Canada Greener Homes Grant

    $ Multiple rebates*

    Receive Federal rebates to undertake EnerGuide evaluations and complete energy efficiency retrofits.

  • Electrical Service Upgrade Rebate

    $500*

    Rebate available for upgrading your home’s electric service from your utility provider.
